Pick Up Site Locations
Each weekday morning, Meals On Wheels of Tampa delivery trucks transport freshly prepared meals to designated pick-up sites across the community. At these locations, volunteers collect meals packed in insulated coolers and hot bags before beginning their delivery routes.
Pick up times vary by location and are scheduled between 9:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. After completing their deliveries, volunteers return the empty coolers and hot bags to the same pick-up site.
Delivery routes are designed to be volunteer-friendly, typically covering only a few miles and taking approximately 60 to 90 minutes to complete. Most routes include between 8 and 12 meal deliveries.
