People & Culture Manager

Meals On Wheels of Tampa (MOWT) is seeking its first Human Resources Manager! This position will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of human resources functions, ensuring compliance, and supporting organizational goals through effective people management.

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of directly applicable experience as an HR Generalist or HR Manager who was involved in all aspects of HR.
Experience supporting organizations during periods of rapid growth.
Experience leading HR functions for organizations transitioning from fewer than 50 employees to more than 50 employees.
Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities; organizational and analytical skills;
Understanding of employment laws, ADA, FMLA, and EEOC requirements.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in human resources, business administration, or related
Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
Mission driven

Accounting Associate

A finance position with focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash posting, document compliance, and general accounting operations. Successful candidate will demonstrate accountability, sound judgment, and the ability to identify discrepancies, resolve routine issues independently, and escalate complex matters appropriately.

Skills & Qualifications

Bookkeeping or other accounting experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting &/or Finance strongly preferred
1-5 years’ relevant work experience
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and debit and credit concept
Strong computer skills
Critical thinking skills with focus on efficiency
Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to thrive in a highly customer focused service environment
Interest in nonprofit financial management
Mission driven and team oriented

Chief Philanthropy Officer*

Meals On Wheels of Tampa seeks a Chief Philanthropy Officer to enrich and deepen relationships across our community and grow the revenue, visibility, and partnerships needed to serve more neighbors and advance our mission.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Philanthropy Officer will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team and lead an integrated philanthropy and community engagement function across development, planned giving, donor relations, communications, outreach, and specialized consultants.
