Bilingual Recipient Intake

Primarily assists recipients with enrolling in the Meals On Wheels of Tampa (MOW Tampa) service. Must be able to gather information, build rapport, and show compassion over the phone.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

3-5 years’ experience in case management, social work, or related

Compassionate, caring phone manners and communication skills

Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Clerical, word processing, and office skills

Demonstrated ability to organize resources and establish priorities

Kitchen Chef / Cook

Participate in the daily food preparation for all MOW programs, following all safety and sanitation processes. Will work with the Head Chef to implement new recipes and add suggestions for improvement.

Skills & Qualifications:

High School Diploma

2 to 3+ years’ experience in large quantity meal preparation and menu planning

Basic Knowledge of Therapeutic Diets

Catering experience not required, but preferred

Serve Safe Manager Certification; or able to obtain in the first year

Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
