As part of a national partnership with Meals on Wheels America, Subaru of America, Inc. and its retailers will donate a minimum of $300 to charity for every new vehicle leased or sold from November 16, 2023, to January 2, 2024. Since the Subaru Share the Love Event began in 2008, Subaru and its participating retailers have donated more than 4.3 million meals and helped provide friendly visits to seniors being served by local Meals on Wheels programs across the country.
Meals On Wheels of Tampa has been chosen by Subaru of North Tampa as “Hometown Charity” during this year’s 2023 Subaru Share the Love Event. You will have the opportunity to directly choose Meals On Wheels of Tampa as your charity of choice and we will receive $300! Subaru of North Tampa is located at 11111 N Florida Avenue Tampa 33612.
Why does Subaru support Meals on Wheels? Seniors everywhere are struggling to stay independent and healthy. Today, the average life expectancy is at a record high of 79 years. As we age, even the most independent among us may experience physical declines or financial hardship that strips away our independence. Add to that an increase in geographic mobility of our families, and the result is millions of seniors left behind, hungry, and alone.
